We were somewhat apprehensive at first, having read mixed reviews about Willesden Green which is part of the Borough of Brent in North London. However, our fears were alleviated the moment we got out of the tube station. We were surprised to find a quiet residential estate with a district library situated within close proximity to the apartment.

With the help of the tube station staff, we managed to find our way to the apartment. We had to contact the owner of the property to let us in. Guess where they were physically located? Not anywhere near London or the UK for that matter. They were actually in Israel, that's right, they were located in the Middle East! One of the brothers - Johnny happened to be in London during the time of our visit. He was kind enough to arrange for the apartment to be cleaned up quickly. We were pleasantly surprised when he offered us a bigger apartment than the small studio apartment we originally booked through the internet from Singapore as all the other units were taken up. We obviously welcomed his offer.
The apart
ment came with a kitchen, dining and sitting area as well as a bedroom and ensuite bathroom/toilet. It was a great deal for the rate we paid for a small studio apartment. There's a even small garden with flowers just outside the apartment and we could enjoy the view from the dining area. It was just lovely!
